Why AOL should go OpenID

John Panzer has written a good article on the first steps to OpenID-enabled social networking: Why AOL Should Go OpenID.

It's good to see that AOL is interested in opening up to the rest of the network, and them adopting OpenID both as a relying party and a provider would be excellent; there are millions of and identities out there that would be a major boon to OpenID, and although I don't have much use for AOL's services myself every new relying party helps get the word out there and makes the network more useful for everyone.
